Dr. R received his medical degree at Vanderbilt Medical School in 1986 and completed pediatric residency at UNC, Chapel Hill. Dr. R joined North Raleigh Pediatrics full-time in July 1989. He was certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1991, with latest re-certification in 2012.
Dr. R and his partner purchased the property at 7205 Stonehenge Drive in 1993, where the practice is now located. He has served as a preceptor for UNC medical students since 1997.
He is currently Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at UNC School of Medicine. In 2006-07, he served a two-year term as Chairman of Pediatrics at WakeMed.
Emily is a nationally board certified pediatric primary care nurse practitioner. She earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Emily has worked as a registered nurse at the N.C. Children’s Hospital providing acute, intermediate, and intensive pediatric nursing care for over 5 years. She also serves as an undergraduate pediatric clinical faculty at the UNC School of Nursing. Emily loves to build relationships with her patients and their families; she looks forward to getting to know you and your child at North Raleigh Pediatrics!
Lindsay is a Registered Dietitian and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant specializing in infant nutrition and breastfeeding education. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas and her Master’s degree from Appalachian State University. After working as a Dietitian in public health and realizing her passion for breastfeeding, she completed the Lactation Consultant Training Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020.
Lindsay is so excited to bring her love of breastfeeding to North Raleigh Pediatrics and to help parents meet their infant feeding goals! In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Taylor, and dog, Flynn.
